蓬塔卡纳高级洞穴潜水——Oleg的蝙蝠洞
Experience a highly specialized advanced cave diving excursion in Punta Cana with a full-day exploration of Oleg’s Bat Cave, also known as Bat House, near Bávaro in the Dominican Republic. This technical dive is exclusively for properly certified Sidemount Cave Divers seeking a true overhead-environment adventure.Travel with local guidance toward this secluded Dominican cave-diving site, including an approximately 30 to 40 minute approach on dirt roads. The excursion is designed for only 1 to 3 certified cave divers, creating a focused small-group experience with detailed knowledge of the cave and its access route.Inside Oleg’s Bat Cave, explore submerged passages at reported depths of approximately 6 to 12 meters. The attraction is not extreme depth but the cave’s exceptional geology: striated rock walls, potholed ceilings and unusual formations shaped over thousands of years create a remarkable technical diving environment. The cave also supports specialized fauna, including large numbers of cave-adapted shrimp, worms and other organisms. The site is associated with fossil discoveries including remains identified as the Cuban crocodile, Crocodylus rhombifer, adding a rare prehistoric dimension to this cave diving experience in the Dominican Republic. For qualified technical divers looking for Punta Cana cave diving beyond conventional reef and wreck sites, Oleg’s Bat Cave combines sidemount exploration, geology, cave biology and history. Participation is strictly limited to divers holding the required Sidemount Cave Diver certification and meeting the guide’s site-specific equipment and safety requirements.
