Secrets of Corfu Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt & Walking Tour
Secrets of Corfu is a self-guided walking tour through the old town, arranged as a chain of puzzles. The game starts at Town Hall Square (Plateia Dimarcheiou). Each stop begins with a task and ends with an explanation of the place. Along the way it plays like a scavenger hunt through Corfu, with something to find at every stop.It suits couples, families, groups of friends and colleagues on a team day. One phone carries a team of up to four; larger groups play as several teams and compare scores afterwards. Solo players walk the same route. Because there is no guide and no fixed departure, you can start before the heat of the day or later in Corfu. How to playGetting under way in Corfu takes four steps.Book the Exploration GameCheck the email with your play linkOpen the link on your phoneStart playing whenever you likeRiddles, questions and photo tasks send you looking at shutters, alleys and stonework you would otherwise pass. At the Gate of Saint Nicholas and around Casa Parlante and the Banknote Museum the game explains what these buildings hold and how the old town was laid out. The facts arrive in small portions, always about the place in front of you.Several teams at once make it a competition, with points for solved tasks and a leaderboard at the end, which is also why it is used for team outings. There is no time limit, so a stop in the shade is easy. It is a relaxed way to find your way around Corfu.
