Sharm El Sheikh Self-Guided Detective Murder Mystery Game
The starting point in Sharm El Sheikh is the Maritim Jolie Ville Resort, on the edge of Naama Bay. From there the trail keeps close to the shore and the promenade before turning inland through the streets behind the bay. It is a detective game you run yourself, on foot, with Sharm El Sheikh as the setting rather than a guided route. It is put together for families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and one person can work through the case alone. Four players to a team, one phone between them; groups above four take another ticket and split up. The ground is flat and the walking easy here, but the sun over Naama Bay is strong, so most teams build their breaks around shade and water. There is no guide with you and no departure time to catch. How to playGetting started in Sharm El Sheikh takes four steps.Book the City GameCheck the instructions emailDownload the Loquiz appStart playing whenever you likeThe case is the murder of Balthasar. You break codes, complete photo tasks and take statements from digital characters who do not all tell the truth, and the trail runs on through Naama Bay Public Park and the blocks around it. Each solved puzzle cuts the list of suspects down a little further. With several teams out at the same time the game becomes a competition, which makes it usable as a teambuilding exercise as well as an afternoon out. Break off when you want, come back to it later, and finish the case in Sharm El Sheikh whenever it suits you.
