Eleftherias Square in Heraklion is where the first clue is waiting, a short walk from the Archaeological Museum. From there the route runs into the old town, past the Morosini Fountain and the church of Agios Titos, and out to the Rocca a Mare fortress at the harbour mouth. It is a self-guided murder mystery game rather than a guided walk.The centre is compact and mostly flat, with pedestrian streets doing much of the work, so families with children manage it as easily as groups of friends, couples or colleagues.
