Set against a backdrop of glacier-capped volcanoes, lava fields, black sand beaches and dramatic cliffs, the peninsula provides an extraordinary setting for this rare event.The highlight of the experience takes place at a private horse farm, where guests are welcomed with drinks. From this peaceful rural setting, the entire eclipse timeline can be followed: from the first partial phase at 16:44, through totality between 17:45 and 17:47, to the return of daylight at 18:46.
