Preveza Self-Guided Detective Murder Mystery Game
Preveza starts you at the Sailor's Monument on the waterfront and sends you into the lanes behind it. The Venetian Clock Tower and the narrow run of the Saitan Bazaar both fall on the route, and the water is rarely more than a few streets away. It is a self-guided murder mystery game, played on foot with nothing more than a phone.Distances are short here and the old town is flat, so this is an easy walk for families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues. Teams are up to four people sharing one phone, and a larger group buys extra tickets and goes out in several teams. One player on their own is fine too. There is no guide and no fixed departure. How to playFour steps stand between here and the first clue in Preveza.Book the City GameCheck the instructions emailDownload the Loquiz appStart playing whenever you likeThe case is the murder of Balthasar. You break codes, complete photo tasks and weigh up statements from digital characters who are not all telling the truth. One line of evidence points out along the shore towards Pantokratoras Castle, where the timings stop adding up. Every puzzle you solve takes another name off the list. Two teams playing at once makes it a competition, which is why it also serves as a teambuilding activity for a group of colleagues. Pause for a meal, resume when you like, and close the case in Preveza.
